YouthCOnNect

Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:30 feature opportunities to connect to God's Word, our faith, and one another through our YouthConnect hour.   Bible studies aim to get at real world issues in the lives of our youth and help activate their faith to be lived beyond the walls of the church.  We don't hide from hard issues; we play and laugh a lot; and of course, there are donuts!

We take a break from Youth-Connect in the summer and focus on our SERVE trips where youth and adults are sent out to be Grace In Action.  See below for the latest places our youth are sent to.

Fuel - 6th, 7th &  8th Grade Confirmation

During the middle school years, youth are invited to affirm their baptisms through the faith milestone of confirmation.  We gather Wednesday nights throughout the school year to focus on the basics of our faith in the small catechism through large and small group teaching.  We build lifelong relationships with each other and adults who have committed to nurture the faith of this generation by walking with them over the 3 years.  Retreats and mission trips throughout our time allow youth to get away from the daily distractions of life and focus on the gift of faith God has given each.

Da'Light Wednesday nights

High school youth take extra time during their week to dive into faith-filled conversations about big (and little) issues in their lives.  Guided by Scripture, they wrestle with the God of grace and what it means to follow Jesus in every aspect of their lives --from their social media presence to their relationships and extracurricular activities.
