Our hearts break for our Texas neighbors down South and along the Gulf Coast.  We also share our sympathy and concern for others affected by Hurricanes Irma, Jose, and now Maria.  The PMLC Church Council is making an emergency gift of $3,000 from undesignated benevolence, and you can help grow that gift to help our neighbors in need. The gift will be split between Lutheran Disaster Response (responding to all emergencies) and the Gulf Coast Synod of the ELCA led by Bishop Mike Rinehart.  They will use the funds to help rebuild congregations and communities in great need.  

UPDATE: As of 10/2, you have given $27,500 to help our neighbors.  God is good!  We thank you for being a blessing to others!

The recovery effort will take days to assess and many weeks and months to enact.  As needs are expressed, we will organize a group to help with the recovery efforts.  Our prayers continue for all affected by this catastrophic storm.

At Preston Meadow Lutheran Church we believe in JOYFUL GENEROSITY.  We know God has entrusted to us our many resources in life including our time, talents, and treasures.  We are gathered into God's church in order to be a blessing to others in our lives and community.  

We offer an electronic option for making regular offerings and specially designated donations. Participating in this program works the same as the automatic payment methods used by many families to make mortgage or utility payments and to receive payroll earnings or social security income.

Why participate in this safe and convenient service?

Online Giving allows you to visit at any time and from anywhere with an Internet connection to:

  • set up an automatic payment plan
  • change your donation plan
  • make a one-time donation to a special appeal, and
  • view your online donation history
  • Giving from your checking account

    Automatically transfer funds from your checking or savings account to the church’s bank account.  Fees are minimal to the church when you use automatic withdrawal.  

  • Credit & Debit Card Giving

    Please note that a 2-4% processing fee is subtracted from your total to the church by the various credit card companies.   You have the option to offset if you so choose.

Q: How do automatic contributions work?

A: No matter which donation method you use, you will be asked to select a payment method, start date, frequency and contribution amount. On the date(s) scheduled, donations will be processed and deposited into the church’s bank account.

Q: When will my contribution be processed?

A: Your contribution will be processed each month on the date(s) you authorize.

Q: What can I use to show I made a donation?

A: The itemized list of electronic transaction that appears on your bank or credit card statement can be used as proof of your donations. You will also receive your regular financial statements from the church. 

Q: How safe is Electronic Giving?

A: Secure donation services are provided by Vanco Services, LLC. Vanco processes electronic donations for more than 15,000 churches and nonprofit organizations

Q: What if I need to cancel or temporarily place my donation on hold?

A: You can cancel or suspend donations by notifying the church. (If you signed up online, you may have the option to go online to cancel or suspend your own donations.)
