Jesus said to his disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." –Matthew 28: 19, 20
At Preston Meadow Lutheran Church, we know God has blessed us to be a blessing. God has given us faith, hope, and love that is meant to be shared with our city, county, country, and world. In worship, we see the ways that God moves in our world; we hear how God wants to use us to accomplish his purposes; and we are sent to participate with God using all that we have been given: our time, talents, and treasures.
Jesus also said to his disciples, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” –Acts 1: 8
Preston Meadow Lutheran partners are expected to find a way to serve the world on behalf of God. We know that God has called us to make an impact using what we have first received.
